I missed posting yesterday for a really good reason.. Well 2 of them.. I was emotionally drained from the day before’s blog and 2. I had a house guest.

So I will be doing Thursday in part one and part two…both now of course.. since “Secret Weapon Thursday” is very important to me I will not skip just to write just a part 1.

I don’t really have a lot to tell about said houseguest.. We didn’t do anything.. Or really go anywhere. He arrived Tuesday night and left at 8:30 this morning.

His name is Dan..He grew up in the south suburbs of Chicago..Alsip..And a few other places and he writes scripts.. I think he is pretty darn awesome.. Joe’s longest friend.. But seriously I kinda have hi-jacked him as pretty much all my friends have.

I spent time with him at the OC fair this summer and he pretty much made Hillary’s day comparing her to Tanya Donnelly.

He lives in California now and I just don’t get to see him or talk to him enough.

I have a paper on my desk with a list of places I am going to take pictures. We made it last night. At midnight..

Resurrection cemetery.. I’m gonna visit his dad and his grandparents and leave his dad some Halloween candy..Yes I have directions to find him in there..

He also suggested I visit Restvale and Burr Oak..

Funny thing about Burr Oak…

I was on the shuttle to midway airport as we passed Burr oak getting off the 294. I called home to tell Joe that there were news crews and strange body bags and tents being set up on the corner across from the cemetery..

We found out later that Burr Oak had been digging up the old and putting in the new. And putting the old out by some trees and tall grass.

So on DanDan’s last night we took him to local favorite restaurant “Enzo’s”

Yeah “Stray Dog” is still not back yet but the ground is clear.

“Stray Dog” and “Enzo’s” are owned by the same people.. so it’s all good.. As we walk in the door we’re all yapping and Joey D , the beloved manager of “Stray Dog” is there.. Hugs were had and it was so wonderful to see him.. I missed him a lot and even though we keep in touch via facebook it was so good to be back eating HIS food in his place..

And the food was fantastic of course.

Dan got the tiramisu for dessert and I drooled! Then stole a bit..

It was a fun last meal.. Who knows when I will see DanDan again.? We enjoy every time though..

PART 2

Yeah baby.. Listening to the “Secret Weapon” right now and it is kicking my booty!

This morning is one of those days when you see all the countries listen in and it makes you feel good.. We are worldwide baby!

It’s all good!

On Thursday mornings I really do look forward to turning the “Secret weapon” on.. Its one day I just feel might be the ONE. Every week it passes the last week up..

I say wow this was the best show ever.. And then next week I do it again!
